Cookies

My first attempt at doing Crap Art (http://crapart.spacebar.org/aad/#). A veritable curate's egg of an album. There are some bits I'm quite proud of, but others that are total crap. Of the songs, there are three I think are pretty good, and five I think are at least interesting, which isn't bad for a day's work.

As well as being limited to 24 hours of recording, I limited myself to "portable" instruments - stuff that I can and have fitted into my rucksack (although not all at the same time). This concept was the only pre-created aspect of the entire album - everything else was thought of, written and recorded in the 24 hours of the title (4pm 7th - 4pm 8th December 2008). Originally I was going to choose the instrumentation for each piece on the roll of a dice, but I couldn't find one. :(

• Circumcised tambourine (6, 7)
• C penny whistle (5)
• Yellow plastic slide whistle (7)

"Mastered" to Audacity 1.3 22nd October 2011. Would have been sooner, but I couldn't find the tape.
